No Medical or Health Claims

We make no claims regarding therapeutic benefits, safety for human use, or effectiveness for medical conditions. Product descriptions reflect research applications only.

Ordering and Payment

Order Acceptance

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Inability to verify research-use intent
  • Shipping restrictions or regulatory limitations
  • Product unavailability
  • Suspected fraud or violation of these Terms

An order confirmation does not constitute acceptance. A binding contract is formed only when the order is dispatched.

Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are listed in Euros (€) unless otherwise stated
  • VAT is applied in accordance with Dutch and EU regulations
  • Payment is due at the time of order
  • Accepted payment methods include approved electronic and bank-based options
  • Eligible business customers may apply for invoice-based payment terms

Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for providing accurate billing and shipping information. Any costs arising from incorrect details, including re-shipment fees, are your responsibility.

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping Terms

  • Orders placed before 16:00 CET are generally shipped the same business day
  • Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed
  • Risk of loss transfers to you once the order is handed to the carrier
  • You are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees outside the EU

Delivery Issues

Inspect all deliveries immediately upon receipt. Any damage, loss, or discrepancies must be reported within 48 hours and supported with photographic evidence.

We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, force majeure events, or incorrect delivery information.

Failed Delivery

If delivery fails due to your unavailability or incorrect address details, additional charges may apply for re-delivery.

Returns and Refunds

Return Policy

Due to the nature of research chemicals, returns are accepted only if:

  • Products are unopened and in original packaging
  • The return request is made within 14 days of delivery
  • Original documentation is provided

Opened, used, or damaged products are not eligible for return for safety and compliance reasons.

Refund Process

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Processing time is approximately 5–7 business days after receipt of returned goods
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

Defective or Incorrect Products

If you receive a defective or incorrect product, notify us within 48 hours. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost, including return shipping.

Liability and Indemnification

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific order
  • We are not responsible for research outcomes or experimental results
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free website operation

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Retalabs, its owners, affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Misuse of products
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Violation of applicable laws or third-party rights
  • Your research activities or outcomes

Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, government actions, supplier failures, or infrastructure outages.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, trademarks, and product information, is the property of Retalabs or its licensors. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute content without written permission
  • Use trademarks or branding without authorization
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from our systems
  • Create derivative works based on our materials

Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

Governing Law and Disputes

Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of our services shall first be addressed through good faith negotiations. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
